wa a period of time didn't blog and suddenly my tagboard got two blogshops advertisment.. lol.. hmm.. just attended RADICAL CONFERENCE 2009 and there is only one word to decribe it. AWESOME.. the conference was really enlightening.. and one of the testimony is SO SUPER AWESOME THAT I JUST HAVE TO SAY IT OUT..
sister Elodie's testimony during the purity/relationship workshop
she was born in a traditional christian family. at the age of 16 she decided that SHE WANTS TO REBEL. so she met a guy at a party and went head over heels for him.. she started to chase after him and slowly and gradually she drift further away from God. this guy is a guy that is like BAD.. into drugs into tattos blah blah.. one day she went to his house and gave him a present as it was his birthday and he said " Elodie, i can't see you anymore.. because i have become a christian" Elodie was shocked but she accepted it and walk away. she could have said " I'M A CHRISTIAN TOO! LET'S SHINE FOR GOD TOGETHER!" but she didn't.. she went home and started to talking to God.. her heart was broken and she decided to follow God.. to honour him in everything she do. time passed by, she became a Godly person and one day when she was walking in the street, she heard someone calling her name. she turn around and found out that the person is the boy. he say to her ' wow.. you look so different.' as now Elodie is a person of God, she had change inside as well as outside. the boy also changed a lot.. not like the him in the past. after a little while of catching up, they split.. a few days later they met again and this time the boy said 'maybe we should hang out sometimes' Elodie was hesitant. she didn't want to go through the same pain again. this time she honour God and said 'i have to think about it' she went back and ask God and God said to her that it was not the time yet.
one day God told her that if she want's to grow even more, she has to change church. the thing that she didn't know was that at the same time she change church, the boy did the same thing and change to the same church that sister Elodie change to. they met each other again.. the boy ask the same thing again. Elodie honoured God and God said to her that it was still not the time yet. time passed and finally one day, God said to Elodie that it is the time. so when the boy ask the question she agreed. and now, they are engaged.. the guy is actually PASTOR GREG..
this testimony is like sooooooooo powerful amazing awesome that i just have to share it. God knows that pastor Greg is the right one for Elodie but it is just not the time yet. and as a result, Elodie was hurt in the midst of it. COOL RIGHT!
i will honour God from now on and not be distracted by other things. everything has the right time for it. =) ok back to my purpose of posting today.. first day of common test which is eltech.. and..... IT WAS OK!!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA thank God for his grace.. =) i know that i've done my best so now i will trust in God and let Him DO THE REST! =)
